ARTIST STATEMENT
The cup is a symbol of being. It is my space, a closed, self-sufficient space and yet at the same time infinite, like a wheel, like a circle designating its edge. To create a cup means to fill it with content, to pour in life, just to turn it into a source itself, a source from which you can obtain the energy of life. The cup is a mediator, an invisible linkage between me and my inner self. It is a thing and an image, a cause and an effect, an idea and its realization, my own means of self-manifestation, thus of my being.
