The Cover-Up series are muti-layered paintings. The primary canvas is stretched and stapled onto a wall. It is designed with flaps of different sizes and shapes that open up to view the underlying canvas. The viewer lifts the flaps to reveal the primary canvas. In this process, the viewer becomes a part of the painting and undergoes a powerful perceptual experience.
