ARTIST STATEMENT
As a shamanic painter, I explore the tangible and intangible planes of this world through images. I blend that which the eye sees and the senses feel in a union of physical and spiritual form. Through a fusion of vivid color, semi-precious stones, glass, mirrors, beads and other materials, I seek the inner texture and depth of a subject. As I paint, the artwork comes to life and helps guide me through this process. The final piece contains a vitality and strength partially of its own creation.
