Andy Russel

Andy Russel has been creating his fantasy landscapes inspired by dreams since 1976. His vivid colored acrylic paintings portray serene worlds filled with an atmosphere of well-being.

Andy's work has been exhibited in such well-known vinues as the Albright Knox Art Gallery, the Chautauqua National Exhibition of American Art, and the Three-Man Invitational Show "Fact or Fantasy" at the Chautauqua Institution.

His work appeared in the August 1991 and May 1997 issues of The Artist's Magazine, on the cover of Dave Samuels' (of Spyro Gyra) 3rd CD "Natural Selection", Pete Maizitis' first CD "Dance of the Druids" and included in the new CD "Heads or Tails" by Jamie Notarthomas.

Andy served on the Board of Directors of the Associated Artists Organization of Western New York, is a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists, and a signature member of the National Acrylic Painters Association (NAPA) with headquarters in England.
His artwork is well represented in corporate and private collections including GTE, Aero Instruments and Avionics, Armand Castellani (Castellani Art Museum-Niagara University), and celebrity artists Peter Max.
