In our continuing effort to support working artists, Liquitex announces a program aimed at providing valuable Internet exposure for artists working primarily in acrylic paint. Each month one artist will be selected and featured on the Liquitex Internet Site. The work will be selected by a jury from entries received up to the last day of that month. Those entries not selected will be considered during following months. Slides can not be returned as this is an ongoing program.
HOW TO ENTER: There is no entry fee.
- 1. Fill out and sign the form below. Only your City, State, Email and Web Site will be published.
2. Submissions must include 6 images of recent work done primarily in acrylic, a short biography and an artists statement.
3. Images can be submitted via slides, a CD containing JPG files or your web site.
4. SLIDES: Label slides as shown. Mark top of work with an arrow. Slides will not be returned.
5. CD: Images must be 600 pixels wide or greater at 72 DPI. Include an information sheet listing Title, Media and Year.
The CD will not be returned.
5. WEB: If you reference your web site, images must be able to be saved from your site at 600 pixels wide or greater. Include an information sheet listing Title, Media and Year.SALES: The selected work and associated information will be featured on the Liquitex Internet Site for one month. The site may maintain an area of past winners. Artist information will also appear, listing address and telephone number unless otherwise noted. Interested parties will be encouraged to contact the artist directly for sales. Liquitex will receive no commission.
Check the Liquitex site monthly to see if your work has been selected.
