Modeling Paste:
Modeling Paste is a mixture of ground marble and resin. It dries as hard as cement so can be used where strength is required. It can be cut, carved and sanded. You can mix color into Modeling Paste or paint it when dry.
Above: Modeling Paste was applied to wood, layered with color and given a final application of gold acrylic.
Below: Modeling Paste can be built up to create a sculptural form over an armature, foam or chicken wire. It can then be attached to a rigid support with Gloss Super Heavy Gel Medium.
