Brush FAQs

Other artists have asked us...

  • Why do your brushes have wobbly shaped handles?
When designing our small-detail brushes we looked at the shape of the fingers and the different grips used to paint with. Then we modeled and sculpted the handles to reflect this, giving us a gently undulating shape.
  • How do I use a splatter brush?
Anyway you like! You can dip the whole head in paint and then drip it or flick it. Try dragging it across your surface, or use it clean to texturize your color or mediums - use end or sideway on.
  • How many different shapes do you offer in your traditional small brushes?
We offer 4 shapes - Bright, Round, Filbert and Flat.
