As part of our pledge to stand with the Black creative community, we're supporting the Black Art Futures Fund.
WHO ARE BLACK ART FUTURES FUND?
Black Art Futures Fund (BAFF) is a collective of philanthropists promoting the elevation and preservation of Black arts and culture. Through grant making, board-matching and organization-to-donor cultivation, the fund amplifies and strengthens the future of Black art. Grants are awarded to small ($750K or less) nonprofit organizations working to enhance the future of Black arts and culture. Find out more about their work here.
OUR ACTION
In 2020 we gave BAFF 100% of the net proceeds from our online store from July 16th - August 15th. With your help, last year’s donation provided funding, mentorship and support to over 30 grantees. From dance to theatre, music, painting and writing, our grantees have been using this support to deliver opportunities and inspiration to communities throughout the pandemic. This year we’re building on our 2020 activity by donating money to celebrate Black History Month and help the fund amplify Black voices with immediate effect. From February 15th - February 28th, 100% of the net proceeds from our online store will be given to the cause.
